To use an empty Church as a base to realise that & create a living art installation.
Named Organic Church.
A free art Academy in the City of Groningen for children from primary and secundary education who cannot find a connection in the current obsolete education system.
Often Children with a special Talent.
The Funds that I apply for as a fundraising is primarily intended to purchase a building in the City of Groningen, prefarably a church because of its wonderfull acoustics.
This building will be changed into a great living art work.
Meaning that this internetinstallation will be projected onto the windows to the outside.
The walls will be used for children as a practice wall for making wall paintings & later to be used for presentation of their great art works.
One wall will be completely mirrored for children that want to train their dancing & performance skills.
There must be music instuments of all sorts for children to learn about music.
My partner Jeremiach who is Professional musician and autodidact Artist and I (visual artist) will be living in the building to guide them at all time if needed.
But we will also perform our own works because example will be followed.
The intention is that the children will learn to unfold themselfs on the basis of example and self education based on internet research.
All students receive a laptop that can be used for selfdevelopement.
and stimulated to make there own website on which they can sell and exhibit their own works.
The academy organises 4 times a year for Families, friends and citizens of Groningen an exhibition to show the results achieved so far.
Also the funding is needed for materials such as paper, pencils, paint, beamers, all kinds of supplies needed to make the artworks or dance &; music performances. or a combination of the three.
It is my firm beleave that the artist and their creative proccesses are a very important part of the innovation of the Future trade & industrie.
Innovation in education is necessary. !!
The education system I am planning is similar to Ecole42 & Codam in Amsterdam, but more focused on the combination: Education music, art and dance for ages 13 to 21 years
https://www.codam.nl/At the moment there are many exceptional talents in education missing the boat and must necessarily sit at home, because they can not find a connection in mainstream education. Moreover, it is not always possible for every Talent to study because of the growing poverty in the Netherlands. There should be more new educational systems that fit in better with the modern world of the internet era and the ability to meet our daily needs.
They will also be tought in how to relate in group setting. In relation to eachother.
For example if a student has the love for piano It should be easy for this person to learn with the modern tool called Youtube and selfeducational movies in which they learn from an anonimous teacher who put it on the internet. They only need a laptop and a piano and they can selfeducate, with the allready exhisting tutorials. But not everyone has the money nor space to provide those tools for their children that,s the role that Organic Church wants to play.
Also Organic Church should be an educational system abling children to work together and if needed cross over to other disciplines. To make combinations between Art, musric & dance
